OEM steel railway and train-part enquiries use lost-wax investment casting with CNC machining. Select the actual steel specification and component drawing before agreeing its treatment and finished geometry. The request should define the railway part and the working conditions relevant to its acceptance.
Railway drawing and steel requirements
Identify the grade, governing document and drawing revision for the requested component. Define the dimensions and working details needing selected CNC operations. Standard-system references include ASTM, AISI, DIN, BS, JIS, NF and AS. Agree the actual document and dimensional requirements for the component's use.
Heat treatment and manufacturing resources
Quenching and tempering are offered through two mesh-belt furnaces. Machining resources include 60+ machining centers and 70+ CNC machines. Shot blasting and assembly are additional process directions. Define the selected treatment, surfaces and assembly scope together with the accepted dimensional and finished result.
Inspection and applicable records
Inspection directions are MT, UT, RT and CMM, alongside 100% visual inspection and 100% gauge inspection. Select the methods, coverage and acceptance criteria for the actual railway component, keeping the percentage requirements with their respective checks. IATF16949 and ISO14001 are certification references with applicable documents and scope to agree. Bring the grade, drawing, duty and selected manufacturing requirements together with the inspection criteria for the OEM enquiry.
