Custom Bronze Sculpture Casting from Original or Authorized Models

A bronze sculpture starts with the approved artwork, scale and finish. Relia reviews the lost-wax casting and finishing scope with the model, joining boundaries and base interfaces, so the delivered object follows an agreed visual and technical reference.

RELIA · PRODUCT AND MANUFACTURING SUPPORT

Start with the model and authorized design

Relia's sculpture range includes custom-size lost-wax bronze work, patina options and protective wooden-crate packing. References include a 1.8 m figure and a 120 cm eagle. Relia's enquiry connects the approved artwork to the scale, joints, base and selected surface, giving project buyers a clear set of stages to review before final delivery.

02 · ARTWORK

Retain the details that define the sculpture

Defining detail
Mark important features, texture and surface areas.
Approval reference
Use the authorised model and agreed sample.

Mark the features, texture and surfaces that need particular attention. A photographic reference helps the discussion, while the agreed model and sample establish the actual acceptance basis.

Technical notes

Review sectional construction, joins, base connection and access for handling. Brown, black and green patina references describe appearance choices; use a sample or approved visual reference for the actual finish. Structural support and anchoring need a defined installation design rather than assumptions from a display photograph.

MANUFACTURING ROUTE · FEATURES AND CONTROL

Carry the Approved Model Into Joined and Finished Bronze

The approved model leads to the pattern/mould route and the wax sections required for casting. Spruing and the investment or shell system prepare those forms for bronze casting. After mould removal, the cast sections are cleaned, joined where required and worked to recover the agreed detail across seams. Relia's finish scope then defines polishing, patina and any selected protection. Model, representative detail and finish approvals are useful before final packing, because a completed patina or joined large object is harder to revise than the early model.

04 · PROPORTIONS

Review the sculpture as a complete object

Complete object
Review visible form at the intended scale.
Supplied boundaries
Identify seams, separate pieces and assembly scope.

Confirm the visible form and viewing expectations at the intended scale. Include seams, separate pieces and any assembly boundaries in the project discussion rather than leaving them implicit in a single photograph.

05 · PROJECT INTERFACES

Coordinate the base and installation interfaces

Approve model, cast detail, joined areas and patina at agreed stages. The references use wooden crates with soft internal protection; specify support points and lifting needs for the actual artwork. Weathering and maintenance depend on the exposure and finish, not a blanket permanence claim.

06 · OVERSEAS DELIVERY

Plan protection around the approved artwork

Supported artwork
Agree support points and surface protection.
Delivery definition
Plan packing around the actual geometry and route.

Agree support points, surface protection and the required delivery information. Packing and shipping scope should address the actual sculpture geometry and route, with responsibilities visible in the order.

07 · ORDER CONTROL

Approve artwork and delivery on one record

Retain the model revision, material, finish sample and supplied interfaces together. Include the agreed inspection views, packing and delivery scope so later changes remain traceable to the approved project.

Technical notes

Provide the model or artwork, overall dimensions, viewing context and preferred patina. Identify details that must survive enlargement, casting, joining and polishing. For larger work, agree the model approval before metal production so proportional corrections remain practical.
