Custom OEM investment-cast pump impellers have stainless-steel, carbon-steel, iron, alloy and CA15 material directions. The work combines casting, machining when needed and customer-requested surface treatment, including CNC and polishing. Tolerance follows the customer drawing, with 100% inspection for the actual supplied part.

Impeller, shaft interfaces and operating duty

Define the actual impeller geometry and its interfaces with the pump and shaft. Identify the operating fluid and rotational requirements relevant to that component. Agree any required balance or performance acceptance, relating those conditions to the chosen material and part geometry. The supplied impeller can then be evaluated against the duty specified for that task.

Selected material and drawing-controlled CNC areas

Choose the actual material designation and define the dimensions controlled by the customer drawing. Identify which interfaces require CNC machining and which surfaces need polishing. Agree their finished fit and measurement basis, connecting the selected casting and machining scope to the dimensional acceptance of the particular pump component.

Full inspection of the requested impeller

Define the material, dimensional and surface checks within the 100% inspection scope. Assign those checks to the actual cast, machined and polished areas of the component. Relate inspection acceptance to the drawing tolerance and selected duty, establishing how the supplied impeller and its requested finish will be evaluated.

Related casting and application inquiries

Service inquiries also include brass investment casting. Application directions cover industrial, automotive, medical and furniture components. Identify the actual supplied object and selected material for the request, including any qualification required for its use. Connect those requirements to the component geometry, manufacturing scope and finished acceptance.
