OEM investment castings for machinery and industrial parts are available in a lost-wax direction with CNC precision machining. Material references include 1.4313 and 304, with 316, 310 and 1.4301 also available for a selected-material inquiry. A carbon-steel direction can be defined for the actual component.
Material references and machinery function
Choose the exact grade and applicable material requirement for the intended machinery role. Keep each reference connected to the selected component rather than treating the names as interchangeable requirements. The drawing geometry and operating conditions should guide that material decision alongside the surfaces and interfaces being produced.
CT4–CT6 and CNC-finished dimensions
The casting-tolerance reference is CT4–CT6. Establish the applicable casting requirement and identify the dimensions that need subsequent CNC machining. The cast form and CNC-finished interfaces should each have clear acceptance criteria, with their relationship defined by the actual machinery-part drawing.
Sand blasting or polishing for the part
Surface directions include sand blasting and polishing. Select the treatment for the chosen material and identify the areas it applies to. Connect the desired condition to the component's function, appearance and mating requirements so the surface request has a clear place in the manufacturing scope.
Full inspection of the OEM casting work
The OEM machinery-casting work has 100% inspection coverage. Agree the material, casting dimensions, CNC-finished areas and surface checks relevant to the selected component. These acceptance requirements should address the actual industrial or machinery function, with the grade, geometry, selected finish and required checks considered together.
