Surface treatmentCustomers' Demand
Customized OEM machinery parts are offered in steel and carbon steel through sand casting, with machining-center work where needed and customer-defined surface treatment. Lost wax investment casting requests need a separate agreement on the actual manufacturing route and material scope for the component.
Machinery geometry and machining-center work
Select the steel grade and define the component shape on the part drawing. Identify any features that require machining-center work and the dimensions that govern assembly or function. Agree how the cast geometry and subsequent machining will be accepted for the actual machinery part before the work scope is approved.
Tempering and material-specific treatment
Tempering is an offered treatment direction, with the requirements to agree for the selected steel. A T6 treatment request needs confirmation of the actual alloy and treatment scope before it is assigned to the order. Define the final material condition and any required acceptance records together with the component's dimensional requirements. Identify any surfaces whose final condition must be accepted after the selected treatment.
Surface condition and order basis
Specify the customer-required surface treatment and the final appearance or functional condition for the component. The minimum-order reference is 1000, with the unit and order basis to confirm. Keep that quantity agreement linked to the selected grade, casting route and secondary-work scope. Approve the surface, dimensions and treatment acceptance as part of the same custom machinery-component request.
