A blue anodized aluminum bracket can be developed through custom OEM lost wax casting and CNC machining for batch production. Dimensions, color and customer logo can be agreed for the bracket, with the finished surfaces defined around its mounting arrangement and the appearance required by the design.
Map the bracket faces and mounting dimensions
Identify the faces and interfaces that position the bracket in its assembly. Mark the dimensions requiring CNC work and describe the fit needed between the bracket and the surrounding components. This connects the custom casting geometry to the finished measurements used to accept the mounting arrangement.
Approve the blue anodizing and logo details
Use a color sample to agree the blue anodized appearance or a requested custom color for the aluminum bracket. Define the surfaces receiving treatment and the position and content of any customer logo. Include the appearance and dimensional acceptance of those areas in the approval so the finish proposal addresses the actual bracket design.
Select machining for the bracket geometry
CNC milling, turning, drilling, broaching and other available operations can be assigned to the relevant drawing features. Wire EDM, laser machining, etching or chemical machining and rapid prototyping can also be discussed where the project requires them. The service scope is non-micro machining, with the material and operations agreed for the requested component.
Define acceptance for the production batch
Specify the aluminum grade, approved drawing revision and the checks needed for mounting geometry and treated surfaces. Use the agreed sample or prototype requirements to establish the dimensions, color and logo details that production must follow. Confirm the batch scope and acceptance records before ordering, so the supplied brackets can be reviewed against the same approved design.
