DimensionsDrawing
Drawing-defined steel castings are offered through lost wax investment casting with CNC machining. Quenching and tempering, shot blasting and assembly are actual work directions. Establish the grade, geometry and accepted final condition for the component before allocating the cast and secondary-work requirements.
Drawing dimensions and the steel document
Identify the steel grade and the drawing revision that defines the component's fit and function. Requests reference ASTM, AISI, DIN, BS, JIS, NF and AS standard families. Select the actual document and edition needed for the part rather than assuming those families establish the same material acceptance.
Grade-dependent treatment and component finishing
Agree the quench-and-temper cycle and required properties for the chosen steel. The heat-treatment resource reference covers two sets of mesh-belt furnaces. Define the CNC dimensions, shot-blast condition and assembly requirements with the same drawing. Confirm the accepted component geometry and condition after the selected operations.
Assigned machining resources and inspection coverage
Machining resource references cover 50+ machining centers and 80+ CNC machines, with project assignment to confirm. The inspection directions specify 100% visual and 100% gage checks, together with MT, UT, RT and CMM. Agree the coverage for each selected method and the relevant acceptance criteria. Identify the cast and machined areas to which each selected inspection technique applies. Define required records and final project quantity with the complete cast, heat-treated, machined and assembled-part scope.
