OEM/ODM steel lost-wax investment casting supports custom-part inquiries in mining and wear-resistance directions, alongside agricultural machinery, piping and electronics. Select the actual material and application for the component; high-manganese steel and the named alloy-steel references are distinct selection directions.
Choose the grade and applicable standard
Alloy-steel references include 8620, 5120, 5130, 5132, 5140, 4120, 4130 and 4140. Assign the required grade to the selected part rather than treating these references as high-manganese equivalents. DIN, AISI, SAE, ASTM, UNS, GOST, ISO, BS, EN and JIS are standard-family directions to connect to the actual material requirement, not an automatic statement of conformity to every standard.
Ceramic-core and water-soluble-core routes
Ceramic-core precision casting and water-soluble-core precision casting are special-process capabilities available for discussion. Decide whether either belongs in the selected component's casting scope. Custom dimensions and actual geometry provide the basis for that choice, without assuming that both core processes apply to every steel part.
Polishing and blasting for the chosen surface
Finishing directions include polishing, shot blasting and glass-bead sand blasting. Identify the required surface condition and where it applies on the component. Agree the finish together with dimensional acceptance so that the surface work can be assessed against the actual material and part geometry.
Mining wear duty and the actual component
For a mining or wear-related inquiry, describe the part's function, interfaces and operating wear conditions. Establish the required use acceptance before selecting the material and finish. Agricultural, piping and electronics inquiries likewise need their own component definition, rather than a broad application name being treated as equipment fit or a quantified service-life guarantee.
