Precision carbon steel investment casting is offered alongside selected sand casting and metalworking services. Other material choices include stainless steel, steel, brass, copper, aluminum and iron. Plastic projects require a separately defined manufacturing route, with the actual material and component deciding which operations are appropriate.
Define the manufacturing sequence for the component
Technology choices include investment casting, sand casting, machining, welding and forging. The process scope includes molds, casting, deburring, machining and surface treatment. Select the required stages for the actual geometry rather than treating every operation as one universal sequence.
Separate casting grades and machined dimensions
The casting grade range is CT4–CT8, while the machining tolerance reference is ±0.02 mm. Agree the dimensions and manufacturing stages governed by these requirements. Machining choices include broaching, drilling, milling, turning and tapping. For a wire-process enquiry, identify the exact method and its acceptance requirements before defining that work.
Choose the surface for the selected metal
Polishing, passivation, sandblasting, zinc plating and black oxide are available surface treatments. Mark the affected surfaces and define the required condition or appearance for the chosen alloy. Review those criteria with the cast and machined dimensions so the surface treatment addresses the intended component.
Identify the applicable documents and quality records
Standards references include ISO, GB, DIN, JIS, ANSI, BSW, ASTM, ASME, BS, API and EN. Specify the applicable document, grade and acceptance requirements for the order. ISO9001:2015 and TUV certification references should be tied to the required service scope and records. A consistent material specification and drawing revision give the proposed casting and metalworking project one basis for acceptance.
