Precision alloy-steel component enquiries use lost wax investment casting with CNC machining. Define the actual alloy specification and drawing, then agree the treatment, working dimensions and surface condition. The selected material and accepted component requirements provide the basis for the casting and subsequent operations.
Alloy specification and standard selection
ASTM, AISI, DIN, BS, JIS, NF and AS are standard-system references. Identify the governing document and alloy grade for the requested part. Define the drawing revision, working conditions and dimensions relevant to its use. Agree the material acceptance and selected manufacturing scope with those component requirements.
Heat treatment, surface and assembly
Quenching and tempering are offered through two mesh-belt furnaces. Resources include 50+ machining centers and 80+ CNC machines for the machining direction.
- Machined working details
- Identify the features requiring CNC work and their dimensional and surface acceptance.
- Selected finishing operations
- Shot blasting, painting and assembly are stated directions. Agree the treated areas, required appearance and assembly scope for the actual component.
Inspection methods and quality records
MT, UT, RT and CMM are inspection directions, alongside 100% visual inspection and 100% gauge inspection. Select the methods, coverage and criteria relevant to the part, keeping the percentages with their stated checks. IATF16949 and ISO14001 are certification references. Confirm the applicable documents with the selected alloy, drawing, treatment, dimensions and surface and inspection requirements for the enquiry.
