UsageLighting Fixture Housing
Stainless steel marine lighting-fixture housings combine lost wax investment casting with CNC machining for the required component geometry. OEM and ODM customization supports marine machinery and light-housing enquiries, with sand blasting as the surface-treatment option. The housing drawing connects the cast form to the interfaces needed in the light assembly.
Define the housing and its assembly interfaces
Select the stainless grade and identify the housing dimensions, machined interfaces and mating geometry in the drawing. These requirements should describe the particular lighting fixture rather than a general marine component. Allocate dimensional acceptance to the cast and CNC-finished areas, and include the assembly conditions that determine how the housing fits the chosen light design. Agree the corresponding material and dimensional inspection requirements.
Coordinate sand blasting with finished surfaces
Sand blasting is the available surface treatment for this housing enquiry. Identify the surfaces to be treated and the required finished appearance alongside any CNC interfaces that need dimensional acceptance. Review the treatment sequence against the selected stainless steel and housing geometry, with a defined surface condition for the finished component. That ties the surface choice to the actual lighting assembly.
Separate housing acceptance from complete-light approval
For a marine explosion-protected light project, agree the complete assembly design, required protection classification and approval documentation. Assess the housing against that design and its component requirements. GB, ASTM, AISI, DIN and BS are standards references; identify the governing specification and edition. ISO9001:2015 concerns the quality-management certification reference, whose current certificate and scope should be confirmed separately from the finished light's protection approval.
