Custom 316L stainless steel investment and lost wax castings support industrial equipment components made to drawing. OEM and ODM services include CNC milling, turning and deburring, with CNC machining centers forming part of the available machining resources.

Define the 316L component across drawing formats

Drawing support covers 2D PDF, CAD, DWG and DXF files, plus 3D IGES, STEP and VDA formats. Use the selected drawing or model to identify the component geometry and critical interfaces. Keep the material specification and drawing revision consistent across those files so that the casting and machining discussion refers to the same industrial part.

Assign milling, turning and deburring requirements

Select the operations needed for the actual geometry and establish their finished dimensional acceptance. Identify the interfaces that require CNC milling or turning, together with the edges and areas requiring deburring. Review those requirements as part of the component's manufacturing plan, with inspection criteria chosen for the dimensions and surfaces that govern its fit and function.

Select the finished surface for the duty

Painting, powder coating, plating and polishing are surface-treatment choices. Specify the selected finish and the areas receiving it, including the requirements for any functional interface. Agree which dimensions apply before or after finishing and review the intended industrial duty alongside the appearance criteria. The final OEM/ODM approval should bring the 316L material specification, casting geometry, CNC and deburring requirements, and finished inspection acceptance into one component definition.
