Industrial metal components can be developed per drawing through OEM/ODM investment/lost-wax casting, with prototype and mass-production scope. In-house one-stop manufacturing includes CNC machining and metal surface-finishing services. Drawing review, mold-flow simulation and DFM analysis support defining the part before its manufacturing and acceptance requirements are approved.
Start with the controlled drawing and confidentiality
STEP, IGS, DWG, PDF and other drawing formats are accepted, and an NDA agreement is available for drawings. Agree the confidentiality arrangement and identify the controlling drawing revision for the enquiry. Specify the selected metal, component duty and critical geometry so that the engineering review works from a clear part definition.
Use DFM and mold-flow support purposefully
Drawing review, DFM analysis and mold-flow simulation are available within engineering support. Define which aspects of the component need that review and agree the resulting manufacturing decisions. Connect the selected casting route to the geometry and required finished interfaces, keeping the engineering discussion focused on the industrial part being developed.
Carry tolerances through CNC and finishing
Casting and CNC machining tolerances follow the drawing requirements. Identify the dimensions that belong to each stage and select the required metal surface finish. Coordinate these operations within the in-house manufacturing plan, with final dimensional and surface acceptance defined for the actual material and component.
Set prototype and production inspection acceptance
Inspection scope includes spectrometer, X-ray testing, MPI and CMM coordinate measurement. Agree the applicable methods and criteria for the selected component, then connect the prototype review to the intended mass-production acceptance. Confirm the relevant ISO certification and RoHS scope for that material and finished part alongside the engineering and inspection requirements.
