ToleranceCustomer's Drawing Request
Custom iron sand-casting requests are offered for heavy-industry and auto machinery, including the GJS 500-7 spheroidal graphite iron direction. OEM/ODM service supports customized sizes, drawing-defined dimensional requirements and 100% inspection.
Select the iron grade for the machinery component
Choose the actual ductile or grey iron grade required for the part. GJS 500-7 is the spheroidal graphite iron request direction, while grey iron requests need their own selected grade. Keep that material definition with the component drawing so the order identifies which iron is required for the intended work.
Make the drawing explain the machinery interfaces
Customized size should define more than the overall shape. Identify the surfaces and connections that locate the casting within its machinery assembly, and show the finished dimensions that control those relationships. The tolerance requirements follow the customer's drawing, allowing the acceptance definition to address the actual interfaces rather than an assumed general precision value.
- Component geometry
- Define the overall form and the dimensions relevant to the assembly.
- Interface acceptance
- Identify the mating dimensions and their required limits.
Connect full inspection to agreed acceptance
One hundred percent inspection is offered for the custom castings. Agree the material and dimensional characteristics to be checked, together with the criteria used to accept the finished part. Include the intended heavy-industry or auto-machinery duty when defining the order, so the selected iron, geometry and inspection requirements address the same component.
An initial OEM/ODM inquiry should bring the grade choice and dimensioned drawing together. These inputs provide a clear basis for discussing the custom sand casting and its finished-part acceptance.
