ASTM A351 CF3 valve-body enquiries combine custom-size lost-wax investment casting with CNC machining and deburring. OEM and ODM service supports the selected body geometry, surface requirements and finished interfaces for the intended valve project.
Define the valve-body material and geometry
Specify CF3 under the required ASTM A351 basis for the selected body. Other custom material choices include SS304, SS316 and carbon steel; agree the actual specification for the component. Provide the body drawing, critical interfaces and intended fluid, pressure and temperature duty before approving the configuration.
Carry CNC and deburring into the surface plan
Secondary machining includes CNC turning and VMC milling, with deburring in the casting-to-machining sequence. Coating, painting, plating, polishing or a finish to order can be discussed for the component. Identify the controlled interfaces and select the actual surface treatment with its dimensional and appearance acceptance.
Connect the valve casting to traceability records
Traceability covers heat number, production batch and delivery batch. Define the records needed to connect the selected valve body to those identifiers during project review. Keep the material specification, body drawing and accepted manufacturing configuration linked to that traceability scope so the component evidence can be reviewed consistently.
Use sample and drawing support for the selected design
Similar samples and technical drawing design support are available for the enquiry. Agree which sample characteristics are relevant to the proposed valve body and define the drawing requirements that need design support. Include the chosen material, machining interfaces, final surface and inspection acceptance in that discussion. This gives the custom body review a specific engineering target while keeping sample relevance connected to the actual component duty.
