    Customer's Drawing Request

GJS-400-18 SG/ductile iron sand casting is offered for high-strength auto-machinery components, with OEM/ODM service and customized sizes. Grey iron is another material choice for the broader casting inquiry. The selected iron designation, part geometry and drawing-based dimensional requirements define the component being requested.

GJS-400-18 in the material brief

Identify GJS-400-18 when defining the SG/ductile iron requirement and agree the applicable material acceptance for the part. If grey iron is intended, select that material separately with its required designation. Keeping the iron choice specific allows the high-strength component request to be reviewed around its actual material and intended duty.

Sand-cast shape and the machinery interface

Sand casting is the production process, with dimensions customized to the component requirement. Define the shape and mating dimensions that connect the part to the machinery assembly. The tolerance follows the customer's drawing request, so the relevant dimensional criteria should be included with the geometry instead of left as a general precision requirement.

100% inspection against the agreed drawing

Quality control includes 100% inspection. Connect the inspection criteria with the selected iron grade, dimensional requirements and operating duty for the machinery part. This gives the inspection coverage a specific acceptance basis and helps frame which material or dimensional results are required for the component.

Material
Selected SG/ductile or grey-iron designation and its acceptance requirements.
Geometry
Customized dimensions, mating fit and drawing tolerance.
Review
Component-specific material and dimensional inspection criteria.

The OEM discussion can therefore stay focused on a defined sand-cast machinery component. Agree the duty and acceptance with the drawing so the high-strength material direction and custom size are connected to the part's actual intended role.
