Custom gas-turbine replacement blade casting requests can include OEM/ODM service and CNC machining. The inquiry needs an identified blade, selected alloy and part-specific acceptance requirements to define the replacement work.

Identify the blade and its matching geometry

Describe the part being replaced and the position it serves in the intended turbine assembly. Provide the blade geometry and mating-interface definition used to establish fit. This gives the custom casting request a specific replacement object and a clear relationship to the surrounding assembly, before dimensional or material choices are finalized.

Set material selection within the replacement requirements

Stainless steel, steel, titanium and other alloys are material-service directions to discuss. Agree the actual grade for the identified blade and the operating acceptance required for that application. Keep the material choice with the replacement drawing, so the selected alloy and geometry form one component definition.

Assign machining and connection acceptance

The dimensional tolerance direction is 0.01 mm, with the actual finished features and inspection method to be agreed. Identify where CNC machining is needed and which interfaces determine acceptance. If the request includes a threaded connection, define full or partial thread scope and the mating-thread requirements for that connection.

  1. Identify the replacement blade and assembly interfaces.
  2. Select the alloy against the actual component requirements.
  3. Locate the dimensions and connections used for final acceptance.

Specify the documents governing the order

For a DIN-related requirement, state the relevant document and its application to the blade. Bring the drawing revision, alloy selection, machining scope and replacement acceptance criteria into the order definition. These details allow the custom manufacturing request to be reviewed for the particular gas-turbine component.
