Custom aluminum lost wax investment casting is available for OEM components requiring a cast form and selected machined details. CNC and micro machining expand the enquiry beyond the casting shape, while painted finishing provides a specific surface option. The aluminum alloy, detailed geometry and finished condition remain choices for the individual component.
Develop the aluminum casting from usable CAD geometry
IGS, STP, STL and X-T are supported design file forms, alongside Pro/Engineer, SolidWorks, Unigraphics and Auto CAD inputs. Use the geometry to identify the cast surfaces and the details intended for subsequent machining. Mark dimensional limits directly against the relevant geometry so that a precision enquiry has a clear basis for review.
Select small-detail operations and the manufacturing route
Machining services include broaching, drilling, etching or chemical machining, laser machining, milling, turning and wire EDM, with rapid prototyping also available. Micro machining can be considered for the designated small details; agree the dimensions and acceptance rather than treating the term as a numerical tolerance. Confirm separately whether punching belongs in the proposed route for this cast part.
Match the metal choice and painted condition
Aluminum is the primary casting material here, while the wider machining menu also covers brass, bronze, copper, hardened metals, precious metals, stainless steel and steel alloys. Select a material and an appropriate operation combination for the enquiry. For a painted component, identify the required appearance and which surfaces must retain their machined condition when agreeing the finish.
