Identify the required carbon-steel grade with the component's intended function. Describe its cast geometry and important interfaces so the material requirement addresses a defined part.
Geometry to be completed by CNC
Specify which dimensions or interfaces need CNC machining after casting. Agree their finished acceptance alongside the cast dimensions, keeping those two work scopes clear.
OEM scope and inspection criteria
