This green paraffin casting wax comes in pastille form for lost-wax jewelry and metal-part patterns. The fully refined, crystalline wax has a melting-point range of 65–75°C, an oil content of 0.35% and a volume-shrinkage range of 0.5–1.5%.

Relate volume shrinkage to the pattern trial

Volume shrinkage is a material-selection consideration when developing a wax pattern for the intended metal part. Use the 0.5–1.5% range as a basis for agreeing a trial and checking the resulting pattern against its dimensional requirements. Keep the volumetric measurement basis clear when discussing acceptance; it should not become an assumed linear dimensional tolerance. Identify the jewelry detail or metal-part geometry that the trial must reproduce.

Separate melting properties from working settings

The 65–75°C melting range describes a wax property, while the actual working conditions need to suit the chosen mold and preparation method. Establish those settings through the relevant processing instructions and a pattern trial. Pastille form, green color and fully refined crystalline character help identify the wax being evaluated. Confirm handling instructions and the intended burnout cycle separately, so the melting range is not treated as a complete casting-process recipe.

Agree the formulation and intended industrial use

Confirm the formulation and CAS reference 8015-86-9 during material selection. The purity designation is 98; agree its unit, basis and test method before making a grade comparison. Commercial deoiling accompanies the refinement description. Coating-auxiliary and petroleum-additive enquiries should identify their particular formulation and duty, while casting enquiries should concentrate on the pattern, mold and dimensional acceptance. Keep the agreed material identity connected to the process trial.
