Custom steel and stainless-steel engine-part enquiries include lost-wax investment casting with CNC machining. Large gravity and die-casting requests are further directions. Define the actual component, material and size before agreeing the manufacturing route and accepted finished result.
Material and manufacturing object
Stainless steel, carbon steel, aluminum and brass are material directions. Die casting, CNC machining, injection molding and stamping are additional process requests requiring the actual object and scope to be selected. Agree the material and operations with the engine-part drawing and working conditions. Identify which details require the chosen manufacturing direction.
Precision criteria and component drawing
The casting-tolerance reference is CT4–CT6, with roughness at Ra1.6–3.2. Agree the dimensions and manufacturing stage covered by the tolerance. Confirm the roughness unit and the surfaces being assessed. STP and STEP drawing formats support the customized enquiry, with the drawing and accepted geometry to be defined.
Selected surface and finished result
Polishing, sand blasting, powder coating, painting and plating are finish directions. Choose the treatment for the actual material and define its coverage and required appearance.
- Working details
- Identify the dimensions and surfaces requiring selected casting, CNC or other operations.
- Inspection acceptance
- Agree the characteristics and criteria for the actual component. Bring those requirements together with the grade, route, drawing and service conditions for the engine-part enquiry.
