Custom-designed industrial casting enquiries cover steel, stainless steel and brass, with lost wax investment casting and CNC machining scope. OEM and ODM services support custom size and shape, while professional inspection supports review of the selected finished component.
Connect the chosen metal to the drawing
Select the exact grade for the component's industrial duty and identify the geometry needed for that design. Mark the dimensions and interfaces that govern fit and function. Keep the material requirements and drawing revision consistent during the casting review, so the manufacturing plan addresses one defined part.
Agree the casting and CNC route
Use the selected geometry and finished acceptance to define the casting route and required CNC work. Identify which dimensions are accepted after machining and which remain part of the cast geometry. Clarify the intended process for any sand-related request as part of that discussion. The resulting route should reflect the actual component rather than an assumed combination of casting processes.
Define the finished surface and inspection
Specify the surface treatment needed for the chosen material and intended use. Identify the relevant faces and agree their appearance, surface and dimensional criteria together. Select the professional inspection methods and records required for those characteristics, including the machined interfaces that matter to the final part.
Use an exact standard for acceptance
State the particular standard and any certificate requirements applicable to the project. Review their scope against the selected grade, geometry and manufacturing plan. Bring those requirements together with the actual operating duty and inspection criteria before approving the custom industrial casting.
