Tolerance0.02mm
Custom stainless steel lost wax investment casting, machining and polishing form the route for these OEM machinery components. Size follows customer 2D and 3D drawings, with the material and surface condition defined for the part. This brings the casting geometry, finished dimensions and polished appearance into one component enquiry.
Build the custom machinery part around its drawings
Use the 2D drawing to identify controlled dimensions and the 3D geometry to describe the required form. Specify the stainless steel grade and the machinery interfaces that matter to the finished component. OEM customization provides the basis for that discussion; a general stainless steel designation alone does not select the actual grade.
Define the machining acceptance and polished surfaces
The tolerance reference is 0.02 mm. Agree the dimensions, tolerance convention and process stage to which that figure applies, keeping casting and final machined acceptance clear. Polishing is the named finishing step, with the required surfaces and appearance selected for the component. Mark the areas needing a polished condition alongside any dimensions that must remain controlled.
Select the material standard and qualification scope
GB, ASTM, AISI, DIN and BS are standard families available for the custom casting enquiry. Identify the grade and applicable edition when defining the material requirement. Qualification includes ISO9001:2015 and IATF16949 certification; confirm the current scope needed for the order. The resulting requirements can then connect the machinery drawing, chosen stainless grade, machining acceptance and final polished condition for the particular part.
