Custom OEM work combines stainless-steel investment/lost-wax casting with CNC precision machining for machinery and industrial components. Material references include 304, 316, 310 and 1.4301, alongside a separately defined carbon-steel inquiry. Select the actual grade and component requirements when developing the manufacturing scope.
OEM part definition and selected material
Establish the component's role within the machinery or industrial assembly. The selected grade should address that function and its operating conditions, with the drawing identifying the cast shape and interfaces. Connect the material requirement to those dimensions so the custom casting and CNC request concern one clearly defined part and its required acceptance.
CT4–CT6 for the cast form
CT4–CT6 is the casting-tolerance reference. Agree the applicable requirement for the selected geometry, then distinguish the dimensions that need CNC finishing. Each area should have a defined acceptance scope in the drawing. This gives the casting and machining work a connected set of requirements for the actual component, with the material and intended function considered alongside its finished dimensions.
Surface choice and component inspection
Sand blasting and polishing are the available finish directions. Choose the required treatment for the actual grade and the surfaces it affects. The OEM service provides 100% inspection for the agreed machinery-component work. Define the relevant material, cast/CNC dimensional and surface checks against the drawing and operating requirements, so the selected finish and inspection acceptance address the part's intended role.
