Custom OEM sand-casting enquiries include aluminum, brass, stainless steel and gray-iron parts, with A356 as a grade enquiry requiring the actual material specification. Casting, deburring, drilling and threading are stated operations. Define the selected grade and component drawing before agreeing the dimensions, working details and accepted surface condition.
Material and client drawing definition
Size follows the customer's 3D drawing, with tolerance according to the drawing request. The client specification is the component-standard basis. Identify the drawing revision and the dimensions or interfaces relevant to the part's working conditions. Agree the actual grade and accepted geometry for the selected sand casting.
Deburring, holes and threaded details
Define the required deburred condition and identify the holes and threads to be made for the component. The drilling and threading operations need their own dimensions and acceptance criteria alongside the cast geometry. Agree those working details with the material and drawing scope. The selected operations should describe the actual finished part rather than imply a fixed numerical precision.
Customized finish, color and inspection
Surface treatment and color are customized to the requested result. Define the treatment, covered areas and accepted appearance for the actual material. Quality control states strict 100% inspection, with ISO9001 as the certification reference. Agree the inspection criteria and applicable quality documents together with the grade, drawing and dimensional and surface requirements for the OEM enquiry.
