Custom OEM and ODM metal casting/CNC requests are developed around the supplied material and component drawing. Lost-wax/investment, die, sand and gravity casting are manufacturing directions to allocate to the actual part. Inspection is 100% before shipping, with design or production to customer drawings.
Ten codes and the actual material request
Material references are ADC10, ADC12, A360, A380, A390, 5052, 6061, 6063, 2017 and 7075. Select the actual supplied specification and clarify the material scope of any steel casting request. Define the working duty, geometry and accepted dimensional requirements for that component.
Casting-route and CNC work allocation
Agree which casting direction applies to the selected material and drawing. Identify the cast geometry and locations requiring CNC machining, with their own feature limits and measurement criteria. Connect that route allocation to the actual component requirements and accepted final condition.
Five finishes and pre-shipping checks
Powder coating, polishing, nickeling, anodizing and electrophoresis are surface-treatment directions. Choose the applicable method, areas and final condition for the supplied part. Define the characteristics, inspection methods and records covered by the 100% inspection before shipping.
Document identity and design/production responsibility
Identify the actual documents intended by the literal IS0 9001 and IS0 14001 reference terms and the IATF16949 reference. Establish their applicable organization/site and current scope for any certification requirement. Agree drawing-design or production duties, quantity and OEM/ODM responsibility with the selected material, route, finish and inspection acceptance.
