Custom general casting components include iron and steel-alloy directions through sand and investment-casting enquiries. Material and size can be customized. Processing includes casting, heat treatment, machining when needed and selected surface treatment for the requested component.

Customized material and casting route

Choose the actual grade and the casting direction for the part. The drawing establishes its geometry and required size. Identify the intended duty and accepted dimensional result so the custom-material review concerns the component to be manufactured.

Heat treatment and optional machining

Define the heat-treatment requirement for the selected material and finished condition. Machining can be included where the component needs it. Identify the areas and dimensional criteria for those operations, together with the accepted result after processing. The chosen treatment and machining scope belong with the actual drawing.

Painting, powder coating and custom surfaces

Painting and powder coating are surface-treatment choices, while other treatment can follow customer demand. Specify the required condition and the surfaces it covers. Agree that finish alongside the material, heat treatment and any machining requirements.

Key-size QC and drawing inputs

Quality control combines random checks during production with 100% QC for key sizes. Identify those key dimensions and their inspection criteria for the component. The heat-treated casting enquiry can use PDF/CAD drawings in 2D and IGES/STEP geometry in 3D. Bring the selected grade, drawing, casting route and accepted treatment, dimensional and surface results together for the manufacturing review.
