European-style decorative copper-alloy casting can be developed as a relief composition or a figurative artwork for an architectural setting. Bronze and copper-alloy material choices, custom design and a patinated or polished surface let the commission be considered through its form, scale and intended placement.
Choose a relief or a figurative commission
Establish whether the project calls for a decorative relief plate or a figurine/sculpture. That choice defines how the artwork relates to the building façade, garden, park or landscape setting. Agree the final shape and material for the commission so the artistic proposal and the physical object describe the same piece.
Make the patina part of the composition
Patina, polished and mirror-polished finishes provide different surface directions for the artwork. An anti-rust coating is also among the treatment choices, with its application agreed for the selected material and finish. Describe the desired color and surface appearance as part of the composition, keeping the accepted visual result clear for the custom casting.
Set the artwork's scale and color
Size and color are custom choices, with a height range of 1–10 m and life-size work included in the size discussion. Confirm how that range applies to the selected relief or figurative form and establish the final dimensions before approval. For a resort, villa or outdoor-art setting, evaluate those dimensions against the location and the intended visual relationship to its surroundings.
Coordinate the craft with the placement
Hand casting, lost-wax casting, hand forging and hand polishing form the available technique discussion. Agree which work belongs to the chosen design and finish. For façade mounting or outdoor placement, define the mounting requirements and project acceptance with the final artwork geometry, so the commission can be assessed as a complete decorative piece.
