Custom sand-casting work for mining includes carbon steel, with 304/316 stainless steel and brass as further material directions. Size and final finish follow customer requirements for the actual component, with oil as a surface-treatment reference to define for the selected material.
Mining component geometry and the oil/finish condition
Select the supplied material specification, controlled drawing limits and the actual oil or requested finishing method. Identify treated areas, component interfaces and working duty before agreeing the finished condition. Heavy industry, water treatment, healthcare and retail are broader component-use directions requiring their actual function and any applicable approval.
Salt-spray 1000–2000 hours for the tested condition
The anticorrosion test reference is salt spray 1000–2000 hours. Establish the actual specimen, material, surface condition, test method, conditions and acceptance criterion before assigning that range to the component. Agree the corresponding records for the selected work, without converting a test duration into a universal service lifetime. Identify the material and final surface covered by the agreed record, particularly when selecting carbon steel, stainless steel or brass.
Production allocation and ISO9001:2008 scope
The production-capacity reference is 100Ton/month, with responsible site, period, material/product mix and actual output allocation to confirm. ISO9001:2008 is a quality-system reference whose applicable current document and responsible organization/site scope need agreement where required. Establish actual inspection criteria and records, quantity and manufacturing/inspection responsibilities against the accepted material, drawing, surface and test requirements.
