Industrial brass-part enquiries can combine investment-casting and grit-blasting directions with a selected plated or polished finish. Brass is the primary material direction, with aluminum and zinc as broader enquiries to confirm for the actual component. OEM/ODM customization uses the required part dimensions and acceptance criteria.
Choose the brass grade and casting scope
Identify the actual material grade and component geometry before agreeing the process. Connect the investment-casting and grit-blasting request to the same drawing and finished requirements. For an aluminum or zinc enquiry, establish the actual material and manufacturing scope rather than transferring the brass component plan automatically.
Allocate the +/-0.05mm requirement
The tolerance reference is +/-0.05 mm. Define the controlled dimensions and process stage to which that requirement applies, together with the inspection acceptance. Keep the dimensional criteria with the actual part geometry and selected finished condition.
- Plated surface directions
- Chrome plating or nickel plating, with the actual material and acceptance to agree.
- Further surface direction
- Polishing to the required finished condition.
Define the inspected component
100% inspection is offered for this custom industrial casting work. Identify the actual surfaces covered by the grit-blasting and selected finishing requirements. Agree the checked characteristics, records and acceptance for the chosen material, dimensions and surface. Provide the part drawing, selected route and grit-blasting/plating requirements together to establish the OEM/ODM enquiry and the criteria used to accept the finished component.
