Custom water-meter valve bodies can be discussed in a 316 stainless-steel lost-wax casting direction. OEM/ODM work includes machining if needed and surface treatment to customer demand. A one-piece minimum is available, with the actual body design defining the custom manufacturing request.

Interfaces for the meter and valve assembly

Establish the body drawing and the dimensions of its meter and valve connections. Select the actual 316 material requirement alongside those interfaces and the component's intended role. These details give the inquiry a defined body geometry to review within the assembly it needs to serve.

Machining where the body needs further work

Optional machining can be included after casting. Identify the mating areas and drawing dimensions requiring that work, then agree their finished acceptance. The cast form and subsequent operations should address the same body geometry, with the actual material and required surface condition considered together.

Requested surfaces for the operating medium

Surface treatment follows customer demand. Specify the treatment for the selected material and the relevant body surfaces, considering the operating medium, pressure and temperature. Define any water-contact acceptance required for the intended application alongside the component's dimensional and surface requirements.

A one-piece body with defined inspection

Every custom water-meter body in this casting scope is subject to 100% inspection. Agree the checks needed for its material, dimensions, interfaces and finished surfaces. The one-piece inquiry can then connect the lost-wax route, optional work and selected service conditions to a particular component with a clear acceptance basis.
