ADC12 and A380 aluminum die-casting requests are offered for gearbox housings with milling and OEM/ODM prototyping. The high-pressure casting service supports custom size, material and surface finish, allowing the housing's cast form and finished interfaces to be developed together.

Define the gearbox housing around its mating parts

Identify the surfaces and connections that locate the housing within the gearbox assembly. Show which areas require milling and how their dimensions relate to the surrounding cast geometry. This makes the request specific to the actual housing and its mating parts, while keeping the selected aluminum alloy attached to the component definition.

Connect tolerance to inspection

The dimensional tolerance direction is ±0.05 mm, with custom tolerance requests available. Define the relevant dimensions and acceptance limits before choosing how they will be checked. Quality control includes 100% inspection, with CMM, projector, caliper and salt spray testing among the methods available for the order's acceptance plan.

Dimensional checks
Identify the machined and cast dimensions that determine housing fit.
Surface checks
Define the treated areas, appearance requirements and conditions for any requested testing.

Choose a finish for the actual aluminum component

Mill finish, anodizing and powder coating are available treatment directions. Describe which surfaces receive the selected finish and the condition required at assembly interfaces. Agree any particular finish specification as part of the order's acceptance definition, together with the intended housing application.

Carry the housing definition into prototyping

Three-dimensional geometry can be supplied in STP, STEP, IGS, PRT or X_T formats. Include the selected alloy, milling scope and requirements not expressed by shape alone. The wider service also accepts zinc, magnesium and stainless steel material requests and automotive, electronics, industrial-machinery or medical-device project inquiries, with the actual component and route agreed for each request.
