Relia custom OEM metal-part inquiries combine high-pressure die casting with CNC machining and a choice of surface treatments. Material directions include aluminum ADC12, A380 and A383, together with magnesium and zinc alloys selected for the actual component.

Start with the selected alloy and cast shape

Identify the material grade and component geometry before agreeing the process scope. The die-casting machine and CNC machining center provide the manufacturing directions to discuss for that requirement. Mark any areas requiring machining and define their final dimensions so the casting and later operations refer to the same component.

Five surface-treatment directions

Painting, powder coating, electroplating, anodizing and mirror polishing are available choices. Specify the finish for the chosen alloy and identify the appearance or final surface condition you require. If a mating area must retain a controlled fit, include that requirement when agreeing the treatment rather than deciding the surface in isolation.

Coated appearance
Discuss painting or powder coating for the selected part.
Plated or anodized surface
Agree the exact treatment and its applicability to the chosen alloy.
Polished appearance
Define the mirror-polished areas and the required finished condition.

Define precision and document requirements

The precision reference is GB5237.1-2008 High Precision Grade. Confirm the applicable requirement and allocate tolerances to the actual die-cast component's dimensions. When CE or RoHS documentation is needed for purchasing, establish the relevant product or material scope and supporting documents for the selected configuration.

Bringing the alloy, cast geometry, machining and surface condition together makes the OEM request easier to evaluate. Include the intended quantity and the acceptance criteria that define the completed part.
