SizeCustomer's 3D Drawing
Stainless steel mechanical parts are offered through lost wax investment casting with OEM and ODM customization. Solid-solution heat treatment and sandblasting are actual treatment directions, while machining can be included when needed. Custom sizes and tolerance requirements follow the customer's 3D drawing.
Mechanical shape from the 3D drawing
Define the selected stainless grade and the part geometry for the intended industrial assembly. Use the 3D drawing to identify cast areas and any features requiring machining. Assign the required tolerances to the relevant dimensions so the mechanical interfaces and part function are considered together.
Solid-solution treatment requirements
Define the solid-solution treatment for the chosen stainless grade and mechanical component. Agree the material condition required after treatment and the records needed to establish that condition. Identify dimensions or interfaces that must meet acceptance after the treatment sequence. Keep those requirements connected to the grade and drawing, with any optional machining allocated to the agreed stage of work.
Sandblasted condition and project standard
Specify the surfaces requiring sandblasting and the final surface condition to be accepted for the component's duty. Include any machining or dimensional checks relevant after the treatment stages. If the project requires an ISO document, identify the exact document and its applicable material, process or acceptance scope. Approve the requested solid-solution condition, sandblasted surfaces and drawing requirements together for the custom mechanical casting.
