Jewelry injection and pattern wax in pastille form supports the lost wax casting process. The green material has a fully refined, crystalline form, a 65–75°C melting range, 0.35% oil content and 0.5–1.5% volume shrinkage. Pink, yellow and blue enquiries should identify the required color and formulation.
Relate the wax properties to the pattern
The melting range describes a material property; select injection and working settings using the instructions appropriate to the chosen wax and mold. Volume shrinkage also needs its volumetric basis kept explicit when reviewing the finished pattern. Evaluate the actual geometry and dimensional acceptance with a trial, including details that affect the pattern's fit within the intended casting workflow.
Confirm the formulation behind the color
Green is the detailed color for this pastille wax, while pink, yellow and blue remain formulation enquiries alongside it. Use CAS reference 8015-86-9 when confirming material identity. Purity designation 98 needs its unit, basis and test method agreed before it becomes an acceptance criterion. Commercial deoiling is part of the material description; any required oil-content verification should use the selected formulation's technical basis.
Review the complete lost wax cycle
For jewelry work, relate the mold, injection conditions and pattern acceptance to the intended burnout and casting cycle. Confirm burnout compatibility and assess the trial pattern against the dimensions that matter to the design. Coating-auxiliary and petroleum-additive applications are additional use categories, requiring their own formulation and duty review. A jewelry-pattern enquiry should therefore identify its actual process rather than treating every color or auxiliary use as an interchangeable wax grade.
