OEM lost-wax investment casting supports custom industrial metal parts with stainless, carbon, alloy and cast-steel material scope. Applications include automotive parts, electronic components and the instrument industry, with dimensions selected to the customer's component requirements.
Define the machining requirement for each interface
Machining designations include 0.02mm, 0.01mm, 0.10mm and 0.15mm. Identify the feature and measurement basis to which a chosen value applies, then agree its dimensional acceptance on the drawing. Keep those values connected to the actual component interfaces and operating requirements. This allows the machining discussion to follow the selected part geometry without assigning a universal plus/minus tolerance to every surface.
Choose the steel and surface as a matched requirement
Powder-paint spraying, zinc plating and galvanizing are surface-treatment choices for the custom casting enquiry. Select the actual material grade and a suitable treatment for its intended duty. Mark the areas requiring that surface and identify any mating or appearance requirements that affect acceptance. Review the casting dimensions, selected machining values and finished surface together so that the metal component has a consistent final definition.
Connect the drawing files to the applicable standard
Drawing formats cover 2D PDF/CAD and 3D IGES/STEP for component review. Standard enquiries include JIS, BS, ANSI, DIN, GB, ASME, ASTM and AISI; identify the required number and edition for the chosen alloy and part. ISO9001:2015 quality-management scope is also part of the project review. Agree the relevant inspection characteristics, methods and acceptance with those drawing and standard requirements before the custom industrial casting plan is accepted.
