OEM precision machinery and industrial-part enquiries use lost-wax investment casting with CNC precision machining. Material directions include 304, 316, 310, 1.4301 and carbon steel. Select the actual grade and governing document before defining the component drawing and manufacturing scope.

Material specification and working geometry

Identify the grade and material requirements for the requested part. Define the drawing revision and the dimensions relevant to its working geometry. Explain the machinery or industrial duty so that the selected material and accepted finished requirements can be discussed together. The enquiry should refer to the actual component and operating conditions.

Casting criteria and CNC details

The casting-tolerance reference is CT4–CT6. Agree the dimensions and manufacturing stage covered by the selected criteria. Identify the working details requiring CNC precision machining and their dimensional and surface acceptance. Bring the cast geometry and subsequent machining requirements together on the component drawing.

Surface treatment and inspection

Sand blasting and polishing are surface choices. Select the treatment for the actual metal and define the areas and accepted condition. Quality control includes 100% inspection, with characteristics and criteria to agree for the part. ISO9001:2015 is the certification reference, requiring applicable documents and scope to be confirmed. Agree those requirements with the grade, drawing, casting criteria and selected machining and surface result for the OEM enquiry.
