OEM/ODM custom stainless/carbon-steel lost wax investment casting requests include CNC precision machining, CT4–CT6 casting-tolerance references and 100% inspection. Material directions include 304, 316, 310, 1.4301 and carbon-steel requests. Confirm the exact supplied grade and correct classification for the component before selecting its manufacturing scope.
Grade and component definition
Machinery, industrial parts, auto, valve and pump work are application directions for these custom casting requests. Supply the actual drawing, dimensions and working duty. Agree the selected material specification and classification, including the meaning of the 1.4301 and carbon-steel directions, without assuming an equivalence between grade names.
Casting class and CNC dimensions
Assign the selected CT4–CT6 class to the cast dimensions on the component drawing. Agree separate dimensional limits and measurement criteria for the CNC-machined areas. This allows the casting class and precision-machining request to be evaluated against their own requirements when defining the finished component.
Sand blasting or polishing
Sand blasting and polishing are the stated surface-treatment choices. Identify the areas to receive the chosen treatment and define their final condition for the intended industrial duty. Include the relevant surface and dimensional acceptance requirements in the request so that the finish discussion follows the selected material and component geometry.
Full inspection and OEM/ODM scope
The inspection direction is 100% inspection of the custom casting work. Agree the characteristics, methods and records that make that full-inspection scope meaningful for the actual part. Confirm project quantity and the allocation of design and manufacturing responsibility within the OEM/ODM request, together with the acceptance documents you need.
