Pump-impeller and rotor-component inquiries can be discussed through custom OEM/ODM CNC turning and milling. Define the selected material and casting scope for the actual industrial pump part, with carbon-steel and cast-iron requirements considered as distinct material requests.
Resolve the iron or steel specification first
Identify the required iron type or carbon-steel grade and attach it to the component drawing. The material requirement should follow the selected impeller or rotor geometry and its intended service. Agree the starting casting and any machining allocation with that material so the request describes one clear component.
Make the pump interfaces the machining reference
Show the mating dimensions and geometry required by the intended pump assembly. Select the turning and milling work needed for those areas, including the applicable 3/4/5-axis machining direction. Define the finished dimensions and inspection acceptance for the selected operations so the completed part can be evaluated against the same drawing.
Set the surface and rotating-component acceptance
Color and surface treatment can follow customer requirements. State the exact final appearance and the rotating-service acceptance needed for the chosen pump component. Keep the finish and material requirements together with the machined interfaces, especially where the finished condition forms part of assembly acceptance.
- Material scope
- Selected cast-iron or carbon-steel grade and starting casting.
- Processing scope
- Turning, milling, selected axes and finished-dimension acceptance.
- Order scope
- Actual impeller or rotor, surface requirement and quantity.
Broader machining inquiries include aluminum, stainless steel, steel alloys and brass, with construction parts as another application direction. Give each request its own component and material brief rather than assuming the pump requirement defines those other parts.
