ToleranceCustomer's Drawing Request
Custom OEM and ODM precision ductile-iron casting enquiries include ASTM A536 and 65-45-12 directions for industrial machinery. Sand casting is the stated process, with sizes and tolerances defined by the customer's drawing. Select the actual material and governing document before agreeing the accepted component.
Material and industrial working requirements
Ductile iron and gray iron are available material directions. Define the selected grade and applicable standard with the component drawing and intended working conditions. A gray iron request requires its own material specification. The drawing and accepted requirements should establish the actual industrial part rather than relying on a general precision label to define its dimensions.
Customized cast geometry
Sizes are customized and tolerance follows the customer's drawing request. Identify the interfaces, dimensions and surface requirements relevant to the machinery component. Agree the drawing revision and the accepted cast geometry with the chosen material. These requirements define the actual precision request without adding an unsupported machining operation or numerical tolerance.
Inspection and completed enquiry
Quality control states 100% inspection under an ISO9001 system, with ISO9001 as the certification reference. Agree the actual inspection criteria and applicable quality documents for the component.
- Select the iron grade and governing material document.
- Provide the drawing, required dimensions and industrial working conditions.
- Agree the dimensional, surface and inspection acceptance for the OEM or ODM casting.
