OEM and ODM customization supports investment-cast part enquiries for industrial use. Aluminum-alloy and stainless-steel directions are available, with brass and other alloys also named. Identify the actual component and the material role for each request so the selected casting route and finished result can be reviewed together.
Component material and process scope
Choose the actual grade and drawing for the industrial part. Casting can be followed by machining if needed, together with selected surface treatment. Specify which areas require machining and which surfaces need treatment, then agree the dimensional and finished-condition criteria for those operations.
- Material choice
- Identify the grade and its role in the requested component.
- Additional operations
- Define any machining and surface-treatment requirements for that material.
Applying the CT5-7 reference
CT5-7 is the casting-tolerance reference. Agree its applicable dimensions and acceptance stage for the selected drawing. The casting requirement and any later machining dimensions should each have a clear inspection basis. Provide the intended component duty with these requirements so the manufacturing review concerns the actual industrial result.
Full checking and document scope
Inspection includes 100% full checking for the selected component. Define the checks and accepted dimensional or surface results that the inspection covers. ISO9001 and IATF16949 are certification references; confirm the applicable documents and their object scope. Together with the grade, drawing and chosen operations, these requirements define the OEM/ODM enquiry for the finished part.
