Custom metal-component work includes copper, brass, stainless-steel and aluminum casting directions, with die-casting scope selected for the actual request. OEM/ODM customization covers size, surface treatment and color. Optional machining, an anodizing finish direction, a 0.002mm tolerance reference and 100% inspection provide further requirements to define for the component.

Choose the material and manufacturing scope

Identify the actual copper, brass, stainless-steel or aluminum grade and component geometry. Agree the casting or die-casting route applicable to that selected material and the machining required for the part. Keep the material and operation scope together so that custom dimensions and finished-condition requirements refer to the same supplied component.

Locate the precision and standard requirements

The tolerance reference is 0.002mm. Define the controlled dimensions and manufacturing stage to which it applies for the actual geometry. Standard families include GB, ASTM, AISI, DIN and BS. Select the applicable numbered requirements and agree their relationship to the drawing and dimensional acceptance of the chosen part.

Define anodized areas, color and inspection acceptance

Select the surface treatment appropriate to the actual material and identify any areas requiring anodizing. Describe the custom color target and the finished condition to be reviewed. The custom casting work is subject to 100% inspection; agree the dimensional and surface criteria for that review with the selected treatment, color, material and controlled dimensions kept explicit.
