Specify an auto component through its stainless grade, geometry and finished condition. This OEM/ODM service offers custom 304/316 stainless steel castings with machining, with the actual investment or die-casting route agreed for the selected part.

Choose the grade and component geometry

Identify whether 304 or 316 is required for the auto-part request. Define the component shape, dimensions and interfaces that need to be manufactured. Agree the casting route and machining scope together so the selected material and geometry have a consistent manufacturing definition.

Relate hardness and wear resistance to the duty

High hardness and wear resistance are performance directions for the custom casting. Describe the actual working environment and the acceptance needed for the component's duty. Connect those requirements to the chosen stainless grade and the finished areas that need a particular condition.

Define the machined and treated surfaces

Dimensions and surface treatment follow the customer's requirements. Identify the areas needing machining and the final dimensions they must achieve. Specify the requested surface condition and where it should apply so the material, cast shape and finished-part requirements address the same auto component.

Agree the OEM/ODM and quality scope

Provide the controlling component definition and the dimensional, surface and performance acceptance required for the enquiry. Identify any records or checks needed for that part. If IATF16949 is required for the order, establish the relevant certificate scope alongside the selected material, casting route and machining agreement.
