UsageLighting Fixture Housing
Custom lighting-fixture housing requests combine silica-sol and lost-wax investment casting with CNC machining and sand blasting. Stainless-steel and Inconel material directions can be discussed within OEM/ODM work, with the actual alloy and housing requirements agreed for the lighting project.
Define the housing around the lighting assembly
Identify the component geometry and the interfaces by which the housing joins the intended fixture. Include the finished dimensions that govern its fit. This gives the casting and CNC request a specific lighting-housing purpose, with the application requirements connected to the actual assembly.
Choose the alloy and its technical reference
Select the required stainless-steel or Inconel grade and agree the corresponding manufacturing allocation. Pair that housing-alloy choice with any required GB, ASTM, AISI, DIN or BS reference, specifying the actual document and edition for acceptance. Keep the material definition with the component geometry and finished-part requirements.
Set the sand-blasted and CNC-finished areas
Identify which housing dimensions require CNC work and which surfaces need sand blasting. Agree the finished condition of any mating areas and the appearance required for the component. Combining those requirements gives the surface and machining discussion a clear relationship to the selected material and assembly interfaces.
Agree the marine lighting project requirements
Marine lighting is an application direction for the housing inquiry. Where the project requires explosion protection, define the relevant housing design and documented verification for the actual lighting assembly. Agree dimensional, surface and application acceptance with those project requirements before selecting the casting work.
