Custom OEM metal component enquiries cover iron, aluminum alloy, stainless steel, brass, copper and titanium. Die, investment and sand casting are forming choices to select for the part, while size and shape follow the client's drawings. The enquiry can also define secondary operations and the final surface or color required in the assembly.
Select the metal and manufacturing route
Choose the grade and geometry before defining the forming process. Additional process choices include CNC lathe work, stamping, hobbing and forging, with the required operation selected for the individual feature or component. These choices should be connected to the material and drawing so the manufacturing scope describes the actual part being requested.
Apply the signed precision reference
The tolerance reference is ±1 μm, with the controlled feature, production stage and measurement basis to be confirmed. Mark the relevant dimensions and state the limits that govern final acceptance. Defining the precision requirement for its actual feature and stage gives the casting and secondary-operation discussion a clear technical basis.
Coordinate treatment and appearance
Processing options include heat treatment, polishing, plating, machining and anodizing, selected for the relevant material and surface. Color choices include black, silver, gold, blue, red, white and yellow. Identify the faces concerned and describe the desired appearance alongside the dimensional requirements so the component's finished condition can be agreed.
Describe the component application
Application enquiries include robotics, aerospace, automotive and industrial machinery. Explain the component's operating function and application-specific acceptance requirements together with the drawing. A coordinated OEM enquiry links material, forming route, secondary operations, precision and final appearance to the part's intended use.
