Custom 316L stainless steel parts are offered through an OEM foundry lost wax precision investment casting service. OEM and ODM projects can be discussed through one-stop service, with the component drawing defining the actual casting requirements. Aluminum and zinc alloy enquiries should identify their own material and process instead of being treated as substitutions for a 316L part.
Separate the stainless, aluminum and zinc projects
The aluminum choices are A360, A380, ADC-12 and ADC-10, while zinc choices include ZA-3, ZA-5 and ZA-8. Keep the chosen alloy designation on the drawing and agree the casting route for that project. A request for a stainless steel component should specify 316L and its applicable material standard so that the quotation addresses the intended metal.
Choose a surface for the actual alloy
Mill-finished, powder-coated, polished and brushed surfaces are among the available choices. Define the required appearance and the surfaces to be treated, then agree which option suits the selected alloy and component. A visual finish requirement should accompany dimensional requirements where both affect acceptance of the finished casting.
Connect drawing inputs with casting inspection
Drawing inputs include 2D PDF/CAD and 3D IGES/STEP formats. Use a consistent revision and mark the dimensions and surfaces that require particular attention. The service carries ISO9001:2015 certification, and its 100% inspection commitment should be tied to the ordered casting's agreed dimensions, surface criteria and inspection records. Specify tolerances and inspection methods for this component so that the acceptance plan is clear before production.
