A custom steel casting project can combine the cast form, CNC work and the required surface condition within one component brief. This OEM service uses drawing-defined dimensions and wall thickness, with a full-process scope for developing the steel part and agreeing its accepted finished condition.
Establish the steel form through the drawing
Steel is the specified material, while the component size and wall thickness are customized. Identify the steel grade required by the project and show the geometry that needs to be cast. The useful starting point is a defined steel component, with its material and shape considered together before the processing scope is settled.
Assign CNC work to the required areas
CNC machining is part of the service offering. Distinguish areas requiring machining from the remaining cast form, and identify the dimensional acceptance needed for those areas. This gives the quotation a clear machining scope while keeping the final component, rather than a general machining label, at the center of the decision.
Separate treatment from the visual finish
Raw-material control, heat treatment and finished-product inspection are included in the process discussion. Surface treatment is customized for the part, so define that requirement separately from the heat-treatment stage. Agree the required condition and acceptance for each operation without assuming a hardness value, coating method or mechanical result that has not been selected.
Keep one acceptance brief across the service
The full-process offering connects the steel part's design requirements with the proposed manufacturing work. Use the same geometry, machining boundaries and surface requirements when reviewing the finished-component acceptance plan. Flexible scheduling and fast response support the project discussion, while the actual sequence and acceptance criteria should remain tied to the agreed steel component.
