OEM aluminum sand casting parts are customized to drawings, including overall size, component requirements and wall thickness. Surface treatment is also selected for the part. Full-process service starts from the design requirements and connects them with raw-material control, heat-treatment review and finished-product inspection.
Define the wall sections on the aluminum casting drawing
Specify the aluminum grade and identify the overall dimensions and wall sections required by the component. Wall thickness follows the drawing rather than a fixed catalogue dimension. Where different sections have different requirements, mark them clearly so that the casting enquiry can address the intended geometry and dimensional acceptance together.
Choose the thermal and finished surface requirements
Surface treatment is custom, so describe the required condition for the actual part instead of assuming a particular finish. Include the thermal condition needed by the selected aluminum grade when discussing heat-treatment review. Relate these requirements to the drawing dimensions and surfaces that will be inspected in the finished component.
Connect design inputs with the process-control plan
The inspection provision addresses raw-material control, heat treatment and finished-product inspection. Agree what material, dimensional and surface checks are needed for the component and how their results will be accepted. Full-process support can then be discussed around the same set of drawing requirements, giving the custom sand casting enquiry a defined basis from design review through the finished-part acceptance stage.
