Define an industrial stainless steel component through the selected grade, drawing dimensions and required finished condition. This OEM fabrication service combines lost wax investment casting with CNC machining, offering 304 and 316L stainless steel choices and electroplated surface finishing.
Choose 304 or 316L for the actual component
Identify the required stainless steel grade on the component drawing before settling the production plan. Both 304 and 316L are material choices for the enquiry, while the dimensions follow the customer's drawings. Connect the grade selection to the actual part and its intended industrial use, so the manufacturing request describes one defined component.
Connect CT4–CT6 with the drawing and machining scope
CT4–CT6 is the stated tolerance range. Agree its applicable basis and the casting dimensions that it covers, keeping the finished CNC requirements clear alongside that casting acceptance. Machining-center work is included in the service scope, so identify the dimensions or surfaces requiring that stage before approving the process plan.
Specify electroplating as part of the finished condition
Electroplating is the surface finish for this service. Define the required plated areas and the surface acceptance expected for the selected stainless steel part. Confirm the actual casting route and the relationship between casting, CNC machining and finishing for the component being ordered.
Drawing inputs include 2D PDF or CAD files and 3D IGES or STEP files. Use those documents to bring the following decisions together in one controlled component brief.
- Selected stainless steel grade and component dimensions.
- Applicable casting tolerance and finished machining acceptance.
- Electroplated areas and required surface condition.
