Custom OEM cast steel bearing housings are offered with machined twin bores and dimensions tailored to the drawing. Housing specification, wall thickness and surface treatment are customized for the component. The service covers design through the finished housing, allowing the enquiry to connect its cast form, machined interfaces and required final condition.
Define the twin-bore bearing interfaces
Provide the steel grade and the housing geometry needed within the bearing assembly. Mark the bore dimensions, bearing interfaces and alignment requirements that govern fit and function. These drawing details give the machining discussion a specific basis and establish which housing characteristics must be controlled for the intended equipment arrangement.
Coordinate the walls and finished surfaces
Wall thickness follows the customer's drawing and should be defined alongside the housing shape and bore geometry. Identify the required surface treatment and the faces affected by it. Connect the final surface condition with the dimensional requirements so the custom housing specification describes the component in the form needed for assembly.
Review material, treatment and finished-housing acceptance
The quality scope names raw-material control, heat treatment and finished-product inspection. Specify the required treatment condition and the dimensional or surface characteristics to be assessed for the housing. The design discussion should include the bearing fit and operating requirements that affect acceptance. Bringing these requirements together with the drawing gives the OEM casting and machining enquiry a coordinated basis from the steel specification to the finished bearing housing.
